My camera is a terrific Canon SLR Rebel Xsi. I shot some of these photos with a 70-300mm lense, others with a 15Xzoom. I’m just beginning to master adjusting the shutter speed and exposure, as well as altering white balance to reflect true color.
I’m learning to use Photoshop to manipulate my raw shots, but these are mostly true to the way they were shot. Some have been cropped. I’ve been playing around with the artistic settings in Photoshop and love some of the results, which I will probably use on my garden blog header.
I can’t wait to go on the photography workshop in Italy this summer – I think I will learn so much!
Actually, I’ve sold twenty-two of these floral photos, and one has been featured on a seed packet.
